Congratulations to the young man. I wish him much success in his future as quarterback at AU. Except for the Bama game off course.

Its only one game and Nix sure has along way to go.
The O line will be the success or failure of this team. I saw a comment where the line told Gustard at halftime, "lets knock them back and run the ball", seems like that is what happened.
WDE Yes i agree. Auburn's running of the ball began to wear 'em down, and Gus almost Gussed that up smh. Anyways majority of the fans are placing all the credit with NIX which is Bull, he better not let that head swell or he'll be humbled like TUA when they make their SEC run....

Surely Nix does not think he played well, (13 of 31 with 2 pics and easily could have had 2 other pics) even the game winner was a bad throw. What was the injury Whitlow had, nothing serious hopefully.

Nix knows he didn’t play well. He’s a kid that just started his first major football game. He’ll be fine

He will be good in a couple years if Gus doesn’t screw him up or stunt his development. He made several bad throws but also several really nice balls last night in key situations. Everyone needs to remember, he really should be redshirting, lifting weights, getting used to everyone around him being equally talented D1 athletes and carrying a clipboard this year instead of being forced to try to lead an SEC team in his first college game.

Even with that, I would take him right now over any other QB in the SEC other than Tua, Fromm, and maybe 1-2 more. He's gonna be as about as good as any QB can expect to be being developed by Gus.

The best thing Bo has going for him is that his dad can coach him up to make up for Malzahn's lack of ability. I figure unless AU wins 10 this year and they won't, that Malzahn will finally be gone.

Ugly win but it's a win. A lot to correct and work on in the next two weeks.

Guess two high school coaches is better than one Pat coached at Miami and GT before going to HS. IMO he went down to HS so he could be Bo's coach.

Auburn won because Gus was calling the plays. I don’t know about that. To me they won because they made some halftime adjustments. Ran the football and wore down Oregon’s defense. Plus it was obvious that AU was in better shape. Think I saw one Auburn player go down with cramps. And they didn’t quit.

Beyond Amazing & phenomenal, Better than Manziel, and more elusive than Murry. So You gathered all that from watching the Oregon Game? He's a good kid and will probably be great QB but dang 🥴

Actually he was beyond amazing and phenominal and played a really good game. Yes he airmailed a few throws and one he missed for int to Seth but his ability to avoid being sacked is probably better then Johnny Manziel with no one else to compare to. He is more elusive then kyler murray ( not as fast though). He probably had pressure 70% of time and threw the ball away after scrambling saving at least 100 yards. If he learns to just tuck it and getting 5-15 yards once clear and not go for homerun everytime Auburn will be dangerous. No sacks in high school and 1 by shoelaces. We will see. Nix will learn from the film. He'll see that on one of the times he went deep and was picked off, he had Will Hasting cutting across about 5 yards past the LOS without a defender in the zip code. Hastings is quick and fast and could've run for a while. Lesson learned.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.
