There are no exemptions for the bait privilege license. All hunters who choose to hunt white-tailed deer and feral pigs with the aid of bait must purchase the bait privilege license regardless of their age or hunting license status. This includes hunters 65 years of age and older, those under 16 years of age, persons hunting on their own property and lifetime license holders. Additionally, the bait privilege is limited to the bait privilege license holder only. Each hunter must have their own bait privilege license when utilizing bait during hunting.
—
So, for me to take my 7 year old hunting over bait, he has to have his own permit?
Perhaps the better question would be, what is the State going to do with this extra income? What additional services are we the public getting from them for this ‘privilege’? 1. Yes 2. Waste it. 3. Nothing
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

Money grubbing bastards shouldn't have 'conservation' anywhere in their organization title.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Talked to a retired GM this morning and he said it will not hold up because you cannot take a juvenile to court, said first lawsuit and this is gone , and lots of lawyers needing a handout in Tuscaloosa . Can you see a 6 or 8 year old getting a ticket?

Freaking ridiculous! I don’t mind paying for a license at all. But when they make it complicated just so they can ticket me it pisses me off. They’ll never use that money for anything good! Actually I do mind paying for my god given right to hunt and fish

Here we go again. If you're against it, don't bait, don't buy the permit, pretty simple Or don't buy the permit and still bait, like most everyone has already been doing. Ain't like you'll get caught. Maybe one GW per county and half them ain't interested in their job. You can't get one to come out when you need him, so why worry about getting caught?

Actually I do mind paying for my god given right to hunt and fish According to the outdoor Alabama wee and license, you do not have this perceived right. It is a privilege. And you must pay for it.

Yes its a privilege they call it! They also call your DRIVERS License a privilege. I call it being a tax paying american. I paid for those roads and woods with my weekly pay check tax. They lie.

Thou shalt not question Sir Charles Pay your money for your entire family and STHU/quit your bitching or don't put anything out. Or do like I do and dont have any kind of hunting license at all and just go hunting anyway. They made it so complicated that it makes more sense to just take a risk with a game-warden than it is to figure how to be legal.

I've got not sympathy. Resident global license less than $150. Quit your bitching. Y'all sound like a bunch of millenials.
