Go ahead and spend the money and get a Toyota.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

There’s a video on YouTube filmed at an Alabama dealership where 8/10 employees picked the 5.0.

The other two’s reason for picking the eco boost was that its “cool”

I’ve done both and have no regrets.

Because the majority of people (I would guess 85%) don’t have cash on hand and don’t invest what they would have spent on a bulk cash payment for a vehicle. They’re making payments and living paycheck to paycheck.

I use my cash on hand to invest in real estate. I have found I get a better return on it especially where I like to invest in South Baldwin county.

And that’s the perfect way to leverage interest and be smart with your money. The problem with payments for most people is that they can’t afford the vehicle, and use payments to able to “afford” it.

Had S10 Chevy blazer, Toyota 4runner and Ford. Ford F150 is current piece of garbage and been nothing but problems. Chevy was a bigger piece of garbage. Replaced long block 900 miles out of warranty. Toyota was most reliable but I expected a longer life out of what I got out of my 4 runner. Overall Toyota had the least problems until the very end. Expected a lot more from Ford. IWE solenoid replaced 3 times, AC condenser, shifter cable, rear differential, problems with rear door, dash light issues. So much for Built Ford Tough. Plus the Ford dealers in my area are crooks. Paid to service transmission and differential but found out they never did my rear differential despite charging me. Heard of others paying for tune up but original spark plugs were still in the truck. I'll probably go Toyota again as the most likely to hit 200k miles problem free. My 4 runner engine died at like 170k but never had any issues prior to that. Basically oil change and routine maintenance but not the issues I had with Ford or Chevy.

Love my 2016 F150 Lariat FX4. 3.5 Ecoboost with 3.55 gears. Have had it exactly 3 years and will hit 90k miles this week. Only problem I had, covered under my extended 125k warranty, was the rear differential gears went out. I had them replaced at Ford about a month ago. I love this truck. Tons of power with the twin turbo V6, more towing capacity than the V8 (but the turbos LOVE to suck gas down when hauling), tons of room inside, and IMO, a better ride. I test drove Ford, Chevy, GMC, and Ram before picking this one. If I had to do it over again, I'd go straight to the Ford dealer - but I have zero plans on getting rid of this thing.

That’s the same truck I had in a 2013. It would haul ass.

Ford F150 3.5 eco boost (or 2.7 if you dont tow often) and other brands would not even be in consideration based on my last f150 and current. 600,000 between the 2 so far and no major issue of any kind.

I have a 2015 5.0 XLT 4x4 problem free for 80k miles. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. 385 horse 387 ft lbs of torque this thing will roast the tires. 17-21 MPH depending how much I put my foot in it...

I also want to hear from you guys of what you wish your truck had or things it had you could live without

Well, you can buy a Tundra and enjoy the ride. Or you can buy a Ford/GM, or a "I want folks to hear me Dodge" and then soon post a question on here on what to do
when it breaks.

Tundra but like mentioned, fuel mileage is not great. I’ve literally had them all. I have a f-150 now. In my opinion Toyota, gm, ford, dodge.
I’d like to step back in time and never sell my last tundra.

Dodge has horrible reliability. They’re really nice trucks with a lot of power, but have serious issues.

I hear this all the time. Usually from someone who hasn't owned one. I have owned 4 of the Ram 1500s, all were 4WD, now drive a Ram 2500 4WD with a Cummins. Before going Dodge/Ram, I had all Chevy.....C10, K10, S10, and Silverado Z71. Have not had serious issues with any of the Dodge/Ram trucks. Ex-wife drove a Jeep Liberty, at one time, and at one time I had a 2004 Jeep Wrangler, and there was also 1997 Cherokee. No major issues with any of them that weren't my own dang fault My Dad bought a 2005 Ram 2500 4WD with a Cummins, he changed from a lifetime of Chevy trucks..…….my Dad is now 81, and he still drives that truck. They ALL make a bad one from time to time. Even Toyota. I say you gonna be the one paying for it...…...drive what YOU want to drive!
