Carry whatever you can and will carry. That's what it's about, not protection at any inconvenience. If protection really was top priority we would all wear vests and helmets 24-7 and mostly just stay home.LOL

I would say in most situations of SHTF a handgun should be used to get you to a rifle. Either in the truck or at home.

I know what you mean though buddy. I would rather carry my full sized H&K USP but I also own a Kahr P380 for when I can't carry my real fighting handgun.

Is that a .45 in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?

Absolutely. A sidearm is a tool to open up the exit door. That's all.

I might know where there's a couple of 6906s.

Interesting. I can’t remember the model, but I would really like another single stack 9mm.

6906 is the double stack 9mm. Working from memory, I believe it's 12 + 1. Great old guns!

No, sorry, but if I run across one I'll let you know.

The problems I've encountered with these old Smiths is magazines and holsters can be hard , if not impossible, to find.
