I had it plugged and the guy said he couldn’t guarantee the plug. He said there was about a 90 percent chance of it staying. That was about 60,000 miles ago. I had just bought the truck about 3 months before and it came with Goodyear tires. I didn’t want to spend 280 dollars on a replacement. He told to keep it on the right rear and that I couldn’t rotate it. Still looking good so far.

RCHRR 14 point R Joined: Oct 2000 Posts: 7,272 Lee County	I'd plug anything in the tread but nothing in the sidewall. Tread shoulder like shown in the picture would be ok. Steelbelts under the tread for structural support but nothing but nylon cords in the sidewall.
