I’ve been keeping up with this for years now. It stinks to high heaven. The kingdom that is ALDOT is getting in bed with a third party private investment firm to finance this 2.5 billion dollar project. Which just ten years ago they estimated it at 850 million. Plus they want to start a toll on the Wallace tunnel as soon as the project is a go. A $6.00 toll one way on a tunnel that was built in 1974.
