Drove by a popeyes last night, it had a line into the street.

If you look at the signs on the windows of a popeyes. They usually have a weekly deal where you can buy an 8 or 16 piece dinner with 3 sides for real cheap. I bet that deal was going where you were at. The one in Troy does that on Wednesday and it backs traffic up on 231.

That's awesome^^^ favorite sandwich......in reference to chicken specials. Bojangles has an 8 piece with 6 biscuits and a side for like 6.99

Went by the one on Mcfarlqnd in ttown for lunch to see what the buzz was aboutand they had an employee standing on the curb telling everybody they ran out of chicken sammiches.

I passed that place at 12:30 heading South and the traffic was stopped on McFarland from folks going to the drive through.

Popeyes is borderline to greasy for me. I like KFC better

Popeye's Spicy Chicken Sandwich blows away anything that Chick Fil-a puts out. Seriously. Unfortunately, everything else there, including the service, sucks.

yeap. There spicy chicken sandwich is a lot better than chic fila in my opinion. Im also partial to Popeyes over KFC I don't see how people think Popeyes is greasy but KFC isnt

Everyone at work has been raving about them so I thought I'd try it at lunch....but the line was 4 or 5 cars out into the street, so I skipped it. Ain't no fast food good enough to warrant waiting that long.

I started my low carb diet too soon. I love popeye chicken but that sandwich has 60 gr of carbs. I can only have 25 per day.

I first tried the sandwich nearly 2 months ago, IMO its better than a Chic Fil A sandwich. I've had it four or five times... very good..The bread is good, the sauce is good, the pickles are good and the chicken is real good.

With that being said, our popeyes is probably less than 6 months old and still havent figured out how to get a single damn car in and out in less than 15-20 minutes or how to cook the fries. But they've mastered that sammich.

It is worth the wait. Amazing to me that they came up with such a delicious meal for a company that I've never even been to before. All their Bham locations are in suspect neighborhoods except the Homewood location.

They are awesome! A Popeyes opened here in Fayetteville yesterday and I ordered the chicken sammich with spicy Cajun spread and pickles. Was preeeeety dang good for FF. Also was about double the size of chick-fil-a sammich.

Popeyes spicy chicken thighs drinched in crystals hot sauce, two whole jalapeño peppers and a strawberry fanta one of my favorite lunches. Love me some Popeyes they do a great job

Some of yall act like you never heard or seen Popeyes . We have one 5 minuted from my house. I prefer the Popeyes sammich over chic. Wanna know what is better? Get you a liver dinner fried soft spicy. Order of onion rings. You will thank me later but your toilet will not! LOL.
