Where are folks getting the information on the ski boat not being "under way/moving" at the time of the accident? How can the Fite kid be charged with a BUI for just sitting in a boat playing guitar in the dark or with runnning lights on? I think there is a whole lot of speculation going on with regard to both boats and both parties involved. The only thing for certain that I can find is that they still havent found that poor girl and they need to get that done so that family can get some closure.

Like most things, purely speculation.

I remember a month or so back, a boat thread. Talking about the dangers of boating on big lakes.

I figured it was the same person who is telling folks that you are not at fault and can’t be held accountable if you run another boat over in the dark.

I'll just have to wait until the trial to figure it out. All my time in the CJ system hasn't helped me on this one. It is quite confusing.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I hate they haven't found that girl yet, I really wish the family could have a little closure. Not sure about any charges or anything of that nature but it seems like it's too late in the game and there would be too much to prove unless they came out and said it was me and plead guilty. Either way it's a tragedy and should have never happened.

I’m confused by the latest al.com article; the statement the Sugg’s attorney released said they turned tbemselves in for the misdemeanor charges, but then says they deny any misdemeanor charges against them.

I’m sure they turned themselves in when they found out they had warrants

I believe a lot more people need to do the same thing.

I wonder of the recovery team has access to an underwater drone, like this one?

UW Drone

I watched a demo on YouTube last night and immediately thought of the effort to recover her body.
