Not sure why you even bother to put UGA in that list. Maybe you don't follow recruiting very much or keep up with the talent that is on the field. It has taken Kirby three years of recruiting but we will have on the field as many 4-5 star players as Alabama will have this year, so the level of talent at UGA is now comparable to UA. Kirby is a young head coach and still learning but his day is coming and it may be right around the corner.

The idea of UGA with delusions of having a Bama-like trophy case, but one that looks like South Carolina's in reality, is hard to get past. But I also think UGA has the best chance of making it to the playoffs from that list. The East is WEAK.

AU and UT not even in that conversation despite some truly delusional idots who believe they are. They don't have the talent or consistency.
Delusional as in "This is gonna be OUR year!" and then it isn't, delusional?
Auburn, UGA and ND. The latter two actually have a chance based on being in the East and as an indy. The Barn will lose one it's not supposed to lose and then add another 2-3 more losses, as per usual.
I wouldn't even put UT in that group because they're still so bad and possibly still another coach away, as much as I think Pruitt is a good coach.

I’m going with Tennessee. Because all the other teams to choose from have either won a National championship or played for it within the last ten years. UT hasn’t even come close since I could run fast but their fan base thinks they are in the hunt every season.

Before TN played WVU last year, I heard some awful shucks about # stars recruited, level of talent they had, how good they are (really?) etc, etc. They are something to say the least. And they got their ass beat.

ND and it isn't even close. Here's the logic: With the other three, they may not win the title, but the title will go through them and has for the last few years. ND can't say that which makes them irrelevant in the national scene all the while thinking they have an exclusive TV contract with NBC and a national fan base making them a great football team. All it truly means is that they are on NBC all the time and they disappoint people all over the country every year.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

The Irish use religion to "recruit"(the "" are for hey this kids poor and terrible academically,but we need his skills athletically far worse than any sec school)
UCF asked for the big schools....but won't schedule any of them.Did my heart good to see Lsu with 17 starters off defense beat them. Uga/AU nowhere close delusionally.

I know we all rib each other but in all reality there's four levels of D-1 CFB. There's the upper echelon which is expected to be in the playoffs and if they aren't it's going to be a bad season.... these teams are currently Bama, Clemson, OSU, Oklahoma and Georgia. There's the high tier which is a whole lot of teams but they're expected to get records between 8-11 win seasons and can beat any given team on any given day..... these teams are Florida, LSU, USC, Oregon, Texas, Michigan, Michigan State, Texas A&M, etc. There's mid tier which is even more teams. These teams are usually pretty good but currently have coaches on the hot seat, still have the talent to be able to beat folks but aren't currently developing it, or are teams in bad markets that just can't recruit that well. They're expected records are going to hover around .500 and if they get bowl eligible it will be a good season. These are teams like Auburn, Ole Miss, Memphis, TCU, Northwestern, Iowa, UCLA, Nebraska, etc. The fourth tier is everybody else and Boise State.
If the fans don't realize this then they're delusional.

A prime example of a delusional fan would be one that brags about their FG kicker, even tho in the past 5 years they have averaged 76% vs their cross state rival at 70%, not a lot of difference. Throw in the fact that the cross state rival had 5 National Championships in the past 10 years sort of blows the kicker out of the water.
