It may just be my location (NE Bama) but most of the maples and sweetgums are turning yellow or already losing leaves, I'm seeing lots of small acorns on the ground and have seen a few ripe muscadines. This is very odd, normally these changes would be happening a month from now. We've had a good bit of rain, and it's been hot but I wouldn't say out of the ordinary. What do yall think? Is fall gonna get here earlier this year?

I think the heat and drought are affecting the trees. It sure ain’t cool weather or shortened daylight

The left lane is for the the purpose of moving the flow of traffic forward regardless of the speed limit. If your impeding the flow of traffic get your ass in the right lane. It's really that simple...

I would really like to see fall come early but the leaves turning and acorns falling is the drought/heat doing it. my driveway has hundreds of red oak acorns on it already
When I need expert advice I tend to talk to myself The older I get the better I used to be

Is fall gonna get here earlier this year? That happens when it's this dry. Our hay fields were grey yesterday. It's dry when grass turns grey.
