Dang, that's cheap considering the metal, parts, time, etc...

We've got a 16' Summit brand that has done us well.

Thank you! I am down to my last Strongbuilt tripod. Need a few more to hunt a clearcut. That design is far superior to any of the stuff I see marketed today.

He keeps around 10-20 built at all times. Massey is between moulton and Hartselle

I thought you were asking about a mount for a spotting scope - lmao.

That's a dang good looking stand 257.

You can't build a stand for the price it would be to buy one nowadays. Whenever these tarrifs take effect, might be a different story. Cheap low grade Chinese steel has been the backbone of our manufacturing for a long time.

16 foot Summit Strikepod. Can get 2 different length leg kits for shorter version. Academy has the 16' kits, normally $299.
We have 6 and they work well. Some folks are not crazy about the steps, older folks in my the club do not like them. Very good height to rail . For clearcuts and pastures, nothing I ike better.

little trick I've used for years when hunting out of a tripod. Take a 1X6 long enough to hang off both rails of the tripod, put a sandbag front and rear to rest rifle on. You can move the board around to shoot any direction.

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....
