this may be totally off the subject of what y'all are talking about since I don't duck hunt, but is there such a thing as snake-proof waders?

I've had 'em all in the last 3 decades. They will all fail.

When I started wearing banded breathables several years ago, I was changed. I never wear my neoprenes anymore. I've still got a slow leaking pair of lacrosse brush tuff extremes that I could make work, but never hunted in them at all last year.

The breathables do suck when breaking ice, that's probably the only place where neoprene wins.

For under $200, go to Rogers and hope you get what you need.

Breathable is the way to go. If I went a full year without either neoprene or breathable leaking, I would consider it a fine year.

If I had to buy a pair right now- It would be breathable, no doubt about it.

Why would waterfowl need waders?

If I've owned 1 pair of lacrosse, I've owned 10 and I can't get them to last 12 months. Apparently I got all the rejects. I stopped with them 3 or 4 years ago.
