WOW! That is one Hell of a boat and the owner should be completely satisfied.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Very impressive! I am constantly amazed at the skills the members here have. You’ve obviously heard of my deer missing skills. By the way, that’s a nice dang boat. I couldn’t fold a piece of paper better than that.

That is very, very nice. At our business we work with aluminum every day. I know a little about aluminum fabrication... You did one heck of a job.
Do you have a die in a brake to make the ribs or are you breaking them in a standard punch and die one bend at a time?

Fine looking boat. Very good work. But, where's the steering wheel? 😆

I just looked at the pictures again. Good grief... you built that with a spool gun. I'd like to see what you could do with one of our high frequency MIG machines.

Yeah, I’ve run some of the better pulsed mig machines when I use to still actually weld for a living. I’ve been saying I was gonna break down and get one for years now, but I would keep swearing everytime I built a boat it would be my last and I would talk myself out of it. It ain’t bad on a boat like this, but I’ve built some bigger v bottom bay boats, I would burn through 30 1 pound spools just doing the hull and stringers. I brake the corrugations on my buddies brake. It’s a homemade 24’ 200 tin brakes, it’s interesting. They are formed with a die he made in a single stroke, so I guess they are really press formed more so then broke. Braking a 3” wide corrugation over 24’ in 3/16” takes all the tonnage the machine has, and the machine actually deflects when doing it so much that we have to shim and crown the center of the bottom die to account for the deflection. It’s a PIA

Yeah I'm sure a single stroke 24' 3" rib would take a whole lot of tonnage. I'd love to build my own boat but I don't have a way to make the ribs. Our brake is only 12' wide 250 ton. I guess I could weld angle on the bottom but that would be almost impossible to keep from warping due to the heat.

That is awesome! Young man you have a heck of a skill and you won’t ever be without work. I’m positive that the knives you make will be as high quality as your boat builds.
