I could only imagine the range of emotions Capt. Knight felt when that plane came to rest and seeing the ground crew honoring his father. God bless him.

glad for him to get his family back. I had a close friend while in Nam and during a battle he went missing and over the last 50 years ive checked with his family and his body was never returned. He was just listed as MIA, don't know if he was killed or taken captive. Thanks to you for going to that hell hole. My father & an uncle spent some time there to. The C-141 that brought my dad home had an engine that was running bad at take off. The flight crew wouldn't shut it down because they were afraid the ground controllers would see it not thrusting. As soon as they got way out, they shut it down. They explained to everyone about the bad vibration & that they weren't about to turn around & go back- they were going home. The old C-141 flew home on 3 engines & they're was not a single complaint.
