About to buy one of the 2, what’s the major differences that anyone knows of? I love the M2 but just wondering if the price difference is worth it. It’ll be just for turkey hunting and 20 gauge

I have an M2 and bought my son an affinity. I really like the affinity and would buy it if I was getting another one.

I own both and hunt with both. The optional Comfortech stock is the primary advantage to the M2 over the Affinity. Having said that I’m a huge Affinity fan. Lots of bang for the buck.

Don't have m2 but I've put a lot of shells thru the affinity and even more thru an old franchi al48 20 gauge.. never had hiccup in either one I wish that 48 would take a choke tho it'd be my turkey gun then

My daughter has inherited my Affinity. Affinity is a shooter with the right choke/combo. I’ve had zero reliability issues at this point. Gun is several years old. Killed plenty turkeys and dove with it.

You just got to watch which loads you run. I’ve
Heard some of the factory 3” shells won’t feed, but that’s not specific to the Affinity from
my understanding. If you are roll crimping, you’ll have to watch the length.

I have no experience with the Affinity but I've been pleased with my M2 20ga the little bit I've used it thus far.

Are they both finicky about shell length?

Best I can tell is comfort tech stock and the forend is a little longer than on the m2, everything else is very similar

Nice gun! Those montefeltro's are fine shooting guns! Does that montefeltro have sling attachments on it? I have an affinity that is a sweet shooting gun.

I have a Montefeltro 20ga I have dove hunted with for the last 12-13yrs. I shoot it a lot, dont maintain it very well and it has been flawless. I think you will like the gun.

Has one on the butt stock but not on the magazine cap, didn’t notice that until I got it home but they sell one that has it so I’ll be getting one

I’m sure Midwest gunworks seeks a swivel cap too.

Crazy that a company like Benelli would have that oversight of not including a front sling swivel.
Might be worth a call to find out if it is the same thread pitch as the other 20gauges which might open up more options to search for.

Or buy a black one and live with it black or send it out to get dipped.

That’s the thing I have a sbe 1 and it has the swivel cap from factory! I might be weird but when I spend a grand on a gun I’d hate to order a $(0 dollar cap plus the cost to dip it and the possibility of it not matching the guns pattern. I have a few guns that are dipped it ain’t easy to match it up

I used one of these on a Beretta 390 that didn’t have a sling mount on magazine cap. Only downside is no quick disconnect but there’s ways around that depending on the sling you prefer.

I’ve got 3 up there right now. 2 of mine from head to toe GL and one for north40 getting a cerakote job. He is slam covered up with dipping these days.
