He’s all right or sure seemed so to me. Met Tommy Tuberville few weeks ago. He’s all right too. I think both these guys are our kind of people. Maybe I’ll get a chance to meet some others.

I listened to a radio interview with Byrne a few months back. I was totally unimpressed. The biggest reason was he was saying Tuberville shouldn’t get in the race because while he was a good coach, he wasn’t qualified for office since he wasn't a politician. Ha! That’s what makes me like Tuberville the most. Byrne sounded condescending, arrogant and scared. I know nothing else about him. He may be a great guy but that was a bad interview.

Byrne seemed to be in touch with the issues. He said he toured the border at El Paso 2 weeks ago.

I heard that interview. Byrne wouldn't give a straight answer to any questions and just spewed political double talk. Very unimpressed. But I'd vote for him twice before I'd vote for Dougie.

Pretty simple for me. I'm voting for whoever gets the Republican nod as long as it isn't Roy Moore. I'm supporting Tubby for the reasons Fordman gives in the Primary. He is really just like us except he made a ton of money coaching. From my times around him that hasn't changed him. He is not running to make money, he's taking the Trump route and forgoing a salary. He is a Christian Conservative that will represent our values.
By the way, he approved this post.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Same here. I’ll vote for whoever runs against Jones. I’d even vote for Moore if that’s my only two choices. I just hope to goodness Moore doesn’t get the nod.

As a crimson eyed Bammer and political despiser I'd vote for Tubs over Byrne. All politicians Republican,Democrat what have you are beholden to donors not us voters.

I'm voting Tubs. Can't drain the swamp if we keep voting in lifelong politicians.

I met him back in 2007 when he was head of the 2 year college system. One on one he was not engaging nor did he answer any question with a straight answer. He was on a mission then to get into office and he has done that and is only looking for more.
Check out some of his stances on the proposed toll road on I10 in his backyard Mobile. Too much money at risk for him to fight it. Just passing the buck saying he has no influence on the outcome to taxpayers and those opposing.
ROLL TIDE !!!
