During the Obama years, I loaded up on components whenever I could find what I needed or wanted. I load regular GameKings and ProHunters in a couple different rifles but have depleted most of my inventory. I'm considering trying some of the tipped GameKings in a 7mm08 even though I've always had outstanding accuracy with the regular soft point version. Anyone out there used these tipped GameKings yet?

I've only shot them at paper so for but that was an impressive group. Was in .308. I'd think they would do fine on deer.

I think the only TGK is a 168 gr bullet, which is on the heavy side for a 7-08. I've done a little shooting with them in my 7mm RM and I think they may be a winner. Good groups and if I can get the velocity right I will switch to them instead of the Berger 168 VLD I'm using now.

I didn’t look at the weights for the GameChanger. If it only comes in the heavies I’ll stick with the GameKing for the 7mm08. I may buy some of the GameChangers for a 280 AI I’m currently doing load work for.
