Yes sir! I know a fella from Arkansas that has a saltwater rigged out pond piddling catamaran and a seaman dog deck hand that would pay top dollar to go trolling in your lake pond.

Bet you ain't got many bream in that pond Oh man, there are so many Bluegill in there. I found the breeding circles for Bluegill, looked like over 100 of them. I try to feed the catfish but the swarms of Bluegill eat most of it. I fish the bluegill, but I need to get some of them out Uhmmm. You do know you don’t “need” to take any bluegill out. The bass will regulate the population. Now if you “want” to take some out there is a difference

Here's a good story for you. feeding the BG makes them swarm around the areas I typically feed. I mean they see me coming and it's worse than a litter of puppies. anyway, let the swarm of BG stay still for 30 seconds, the Bass will hit from all sides. you can watch them shoot in at the BG..HUGE Bass too, some of them as long as fingertip to elbow long. I'm surprised at those Bass they can maneuver in the shallow water at the shore but they do. its a feeding frenzy, LOL.

Breeding circles? I thought they was beds?

The bass will regulate the population. Now if you “want” to take some out there is a difference The fisheries people used to tell us to keep every bream you caught and catch as many as possible to keep them from overpopulating the pond. I have fished with people who threw every small bream up on the bank, and they were doing it on the advice of an expert they were paying to manage the pond. It never made sense to me. Has the fisheries world abandoned this practice completely now? I think my pond does better if I take some bass out every year, but I rarely catch any bream.

I got a couple of grass carp in one pond that look to be 4ft long. I only see them when the feeder goes off. I finally figured a way to catch them and it took some engineering. I put a piece of foam and bread on a hook and throw it out with some fish food and if I get lucky one will take it.

I used to see a dozen huge carp in my pond. Only one or two this whole summer. How many is a good number for a 1 acre pond?
Don't blame me for your bad decision-
