Looks like a beautiful place, but I'll bet it's cold in the winter though...

That view of the northern lights might make it worth it

According to Google it's 45 degrees Fahrenheit there right now. The high today is 73. High Wednesday is 83. Probably be a good day for a swim in that lake.

Looks like a paradise. That might be heaven on earth, right there. No summertime and no people.

My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

Aldeer could pool our money together and split it into timeshares.

So like you get 1 week per year but it's never the week you actually want and the monthly/quarterly maintenance fees are ungodly? eek

I have actually flown out of Red Lake with this outfitter https://www.canadianflyinfishing.com/. We have been to their outposts fishing many times. The ice on Red lake gets about 3’ thick in the winter.
We fly to International Falls MN,the it’s 6hr drive north to Red Lake.

That makes it one of the coldest places in North America.

It starts to ice over in October and ice out is in April. We Always go the around the 3rd week of August, lows in 50s highs 80s. The temps really start to change the 2nd week of sept, and fall pretty quick.

We fly into a lake that’s 100 miles north of Red lake. Beautiful country.

I think it gets to something like -35 degrees Fahrenheit in the middle of winter. I would need lots of firewood from somewhere. Cool place though. Might get pretty nice in the coming years with global warming...
