Anyone have any experience with this system? Seems like a great idea but dont know of anyone that has used it. Havent decided if im gonna go the cell route or just the on-site system yet. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Been running 8 or 9 cameras for 7-8 months now and it's been great. I have the cell home unit plugged into power which makes a big difference for battery usage. As long as you have realistic expectations of the distance the cameras can relay, then shouldn't be a problem.

There's a learning curve to setting them up and figuring them out. Once you do though, they're awesome. I'm adding 4 more cams to my system before the Fall. One other thing you need to factor in your decision is they do burn through batteries quicker than regular cameras. I've got all mine on external battery packs now and I'm happy with the battery life now.

The G Series with the cellular link are great but stay away from the K series cams. Lots of trouble with them sending pics to email and text

Yes the K series has been released and been using one for 2 months.... very disappointed. As I said a lot of issues sending emails and text. I even got a gmail account as cuddeback requested I do and it wouldn’t send to it

Used them last season.....very pleased. Do have to send one camera back due to tearing through batteries within two weeks with very few pics.

What is the battery life with external battery pack and how many pics?

I've had them on mineral licks this summer and I'm getting about 2 months of pics out of them. They're better suited for fields, trails, scrapes, ect. If you put it on a feeder, you're going to have to put a pretty good delay between pics or you'll be changing batteries often
