Not shingles. Shingles is nearly always above the waist, and always on only one side of your body.

You definitely have the midget pinky toe disease, though.

I would say cut it off above the ankle.😁 Correct answer. I'll prep the chainsaw. PCP, I got no idee. I'm more of an internal medicine specialist.

Does it itch? Painful? I had a doc friend few years ago that had a bad case of chiggers and almost lost his lower legs because of it. Pics of his legs looked almost identical It started after a morning of picking peas and I thought it was chiggers. But now I have 10 times more bumps than I did Saturday and I have been careful to avoid any place that might have them. It itches like chiggers. Thanks for all the great ideas, guys. I knew aldeer would have the answer. Guess I better try to find a quack with a degree.

Were you wearing shoes and socks or some kind of sandal? It certainly looks to me like a poisonous plant encounter. Even if you had long pants and socks on, the oils could get on them and get to your skin. I am no doctor but I would check that pea patch for poison oak/ivy/sumac, etc and then throw those clothes away if you find it.

I'm no doctor, and it doesn't look like shingles, but my dad had a bad case of shingles on his leg. So even if it isn't common, shingles can happen below the waist. It fried the nerves in his leg and he has no feeling in it from the knee down. He has to use a walker now since he can't feel his leg or foot. Been this way for 3 years now.

I thought it looked poison something or nother too. PoissonOak/ivy etc will spread after it first manifests or at least it has on me.
