I used to try to keep a couple of 7 1/2s for snakes but the armadillos were too much unless fairly close shot. The Home Defense have 3 copper plates and smaller bird shot. You don’t get as much spread with pellets but more range and punch. Again, just depends on what you want. I shot a two liter bottle of water with both loads at 10 yards to compare.

I’ve owned several judges and each of them turned out to be a POS as with other folk I know. The Bond Texan or S&W gov are better guns for the purpose using 2.5 Winchester AA because its waddlng keeps a tighter pattern The CCI 45 ACP shotshell is best for the purpose Ruger 5152 Last edited by JohnnyLoco; 07/14/19 08:25 AM.

He said he would've stepped on it if he hadn't looked down before he got off sbs. made me a believer
