A side arm attachment for the rear is a much better choice I'll agree..we have a front one for skid steer and it's good for tight spots and such but for pond edges a side one would work better

Anybody have any experience with these? They look like they'd be nice for keeping roads and pond edges cut. Only brands I can seem to find are Lane Shark or Limb Ninja. Anyone know a place in Opp that builds them? I built one for my tractor, if you want to come check it out send me a PM. It is the best implement I own.

Would love a side arm attachment but they are not in the budget plus seems like all the ones I've seen on tractors get put on there and stay there. These look way easier to take on and off for the small amount we need to do with it. Heard of a lot of problems with stress fractures in the booms. That's a lot of torque on the end of that boom.

most tractors dont have the proper GPM flow and also thats a lot of weight hanging offset on a loader.

I can't believe nobody has got killed by a bush hog on the front end loader.
Is it in reverse and sling chit out the front instead of the the rear discharge or what?
Y'all ever seen a bush hog sling a rock through a pickup truck window. Kill you dead if you were wondering.

I have a lane shark and absolutely love it. What size tractor are you running it on Cal? I want one but haven't looked too far into them yet.

Yes, it’s a hydraulic motor so depending which way you plumb the hoses depends on blade rotation.

most tractors dont have the proper GPM flow and also thats a lot of weight hanging offset on a loader. You can build a 3 point hitch pto driven hydraulic pump. That’s what I am running on a 30HP tractor. Better for the hydraulic system on the tractor too, prevents overheating

I think lane shark is built in p’cola. The kubota place in Andalusia sells them but i don’t know if anything like that in Opp.
