Today is the third anniversary of three police officers being murdered in Dallas. Last night a young sheriffs deputy was murdered in Atlanta. Our LEO's are under attack due to a false narrative that the far left has been pushing that Police officers are just killing people around the Country. While Police shootings may be up, it is usually due to the perpetrator brandishing a weapon or failing to comply with lawful commands. More often than not the media then pushes lies that the person was unarmed or innocent. Law Enforcement is a thin blue line that stands between the public and the anarchists. In every profession, there are good and bad, but our society needs Law Enforcement, Show them the respect due and you should not have any problems. I fear this is only going to get worse, please pray for our Country.

Person of interest in custody in Ga shooting. Surprise surprise. He appears to be a young illegal alien. They were involved in a chase, then a running gun battle. They were suspected of multiple burglaries of homes where guns were stolen.

The only reason to be in law enforcement today is that you have no skills or ability to make a living doing anything else. You're saying that I would make an excellent police officer! 😆
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

No Mark! Drunks and potheads aren't allowed! hoggin some folks desire LE careers. It's not an easy one nor is it fair to make a blanket statement like that. While I've known cops that couldn't do anything, they were great Policemen. We need them. All of us has been pissed at police before, but most of the time our legal problems(like tickets) were our fault.

Guess what? The more shooting of LEOs just creates a self-fulfilling prophesy situation. The more our officers become on edge, the more likely they are to pull the trigger when it could have been handled with less than lethal force.
Outback, you would have made a fine police officer if you could turn back the clock to about 1950 when it was acceptable for officers to knock knots on heads instead of pussyfooting them to a jail cell.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

experience is a freakin' awesome teacher....

I don’t see that happening at all, most are scared to even pull their weapon when they need to. Most that I know talk often about the fear of what happens if they have to shoot someone nowadays and that leads to hesitation, hesitating leads to dying

So your saying that if an officer has other skills or ways of making money that he or she is an idiot for still being an officer? I think what he is saying is there is very little support among communities for officers and if he/she has other skills, they would be better served doing other things because a large part of the population are more focused on important things..............like women's pay being equal in sports even though they weren't created anything alike (Clem's opinion, not mine). Sounds like a dem playbook and even the southerners are eating it up; well Clem is north Alabama, but you get the point.

So your saying that if an officer has other skills or ways of making money that he or she is an idiot for still being an officer? Absolutely what I'm saying, why participate in a profession where you can lose everything you own and piss away your freedom and family for mediocre pay by doing your job. Think about it. I know a guy that got 10 years because the prosecutor said that he was justified shooting a turd 5 times but 6 was too many and the jury agreed. We could go on and on with stories just like it. That’s why I got out, I loved the job but the bulldoodoo just ain’t worth it. The media will dr videos if they have to to fry your ass and even if your found innocent your life is still destroyed. Ain’t worth it

If you are in the job for the money then you are going to be disappointed. It is about making a difference. When I die I won't have left my children any money, but I will have left them with the knowledge that their father made a difference in a lot of lives. Same thing my father who served in the military for 20 years left me. That is absolutely freakin worth it.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

There are only a few departments any more that I would want my son to work for. I'd rather he go into the military than LE in today's environment. As to making a difference, I guess it helped working in a small town with juvenile victims and offenders because it is pretty common for someone that I may or may not remember come up to me and thank me for helping them when they were a kid.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

The only reason to be in law enforcement today is that you have no skills or ability to make a living doing anything else. That's your opinion and you're entitled to it but in my opinion, it is a complete and utter bulldoodoo statement. Despite all the crap they have to deal with publicly and privately, there are lots of folks out there that have a calling to do it and are great at it. Dr. B

Be the next one to stand trial for shooting some choir boy taking his granny’s pistol to get cleaned while wearing his cousins pants with a half key in the pocket he didn’t know about or some politicians kid that just got high and stupid that one time in his life and was next in-line to be pope then when your in jail and your family has lost everything y’all ever worked for then tell me how worth it it was. As much as I enjoyed the job I wasn’t willing to risk putting my family through it.
