Last week a group of teens had rap music playing loud with every other word being an "F Bomb". I walked over to their canopy and told them the music wasn't family friendly and my grandkids we're hearing it. I told him to turn it off or I would turn it off for him. The radio never played again that week. I'm not a big fellow at all, but at 60 years of age I don't put up with much.

A lot of y’all tell stories about being wild sobs when you were younger then turn around and complain about music being too loud and no one having respect. I ain't old but at 35 I can tell a big difference in today's teens vs when I was one on "respect" I was as crazy as any now days but always respected people. The crap they put on social media I'd been scared my dad would find out and beat my a$$. I've gotten in trouble a lot but it wasn't from being disrespectful.

And having 2 parents that back each other up helps too. I can’t stand one parent saying one thing and kid appealing to the other parent and getting a different answer. We rule together at my house This. Even if you don't exactly agree, you MUST stand united. Once a child sees that he/she can play parents against each other, it will happen. When children learn that mom and dad will bust that tail and not think twice about it, the child rearing gets a little easier.

My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

A lot of y’all tell stories about being wild sobs when you were younger then turn around and complain about music being too loud and no one having respect. Yep. I notice that too. I know when I was a teen and in college, we were loud, drunk and had music playing when I was in the beach. If someone had ask, we would have turned the music down. But, I don't remember anyone asking. The OP instead of walking over and asking them to turn down the music wants to get on here and bitch about them. It apparently never crossed his mind to ask them to turn the music down in a nicely. Just throw it in the water without ever even speaking to them. If you are going to complain about sand getting on you on the beach from someone's towel, stay home. That happens, I've done it, anyone who has been on the beach has done it. Tolerance is another thing that people don't have now. Getting angry and getting on Aldeer to bitch instead of being a man and simply calmly dealing with the situation. Everyone wants to be a bad ass and talk big then sit there and strew in their anger until they either let it ruin their trip or they do something stupid like throw a radio in the water.

I see that and agree that it is out of control. I agree that a majority of kids/teens/young adults are jerk wads with no respect these days. I also think there is some irony there too.
