For those whose wife or daughter(s) are making equal to or more money than male counterparts when in the same job with equal knowledge, education, talent, skills, abilities and tasks-projects, bravo. For those at companies or who own companies where women are paid the same or more than male counterparts in the same job with equal knowledge, education, talent, skills, abilities and tasks-projects, also bravo. Glad to hear it.

I'd hire a 75 year old purple haried transvestite if they were the best person for the job. So would anyone else with any business sense. Green is the only color most business men associate with.

The best equipment operator I've ever seen was a female. She could run a Cat 345 better than anyone in the company. But, she was by far the exception, as far as craft goes, very few females are in the industry above truck drivers or roller operators. Now in the salary positions, the females in our industry are very well on the same pay level as males. But, because the female trend in construction is relatively new, you don't have many upper management positions occupied by females yet. But, get ready for it, because it's coming. I don't have time to get into all the minority/disadvantage businesses, but they are exploding all over the place. Unfortunately only about 1 in 5 are successful.

not sure what the best way to handle them is but they shouldnt be on tv and gettn married and raisin kids

From the information that is used so frequently to show pay disparities, men are compared with women across all industries. It doesn't show things like differentials in experience or the fact that men take higher risk jobs or are more often willing take jobs that require working away from home (overtime) while a woman will turn it down because she has familial responsibilities. At my previous job, I was the one who always volunteered to travel while my female counterparts always declined. Employers remember things like that when it's time for annual performance reviews.

Here is a pretty good Harvard study on this matter in a controlled environment.

Yep.
Simple laws of economics - supply and demand.
The audience for female sports is a small fraction of mens sports.
So the dollars simply aren't there.

I never watch any female sports at all - except womens UFC!!! laugh

ALL athletes are overpaid........both male and female.

The true mark of a man is not how he conducts himself during times of prosperity, but how he conducts himself during times of adversity.

Female porn stars make a lot more money than the men. Just saying, if they want more money there is an industry that pays well.
