Where have y’all found the best places to deal with on purchasing a new side by side. Looking at the rangers. Would be used solely for hunting but will use it for working around the properties and taking the family on joy rides. Really leaning towards the 900 seeing as to how it’s only $1500-2000 more than the 500 with double the horsepower. TIA

Purchased mine from Tucker in Jackson, no way in Hell i was gonna pay what they wanted in Mobile (Taxes are outrageous also) I reckon some folks just don't give a damn, and just sign on the dotted line smh

I also know to NEVER buy anything at Pelham powersports. Stay away from these IDOTS.

extreme powersports in columbus GA. no sales tax if you buy in alabama youre gonna pay taxes and you may get away not paying taxes up front in tennessee but tennessee requires the dealer to report the sales and they will forword it to alabama and youll owe it later come tax time. GA has no rrgistration requirements so its up to you whether or not you pay what you owe pretty much. they also had the best price I could find in 300 miles when I was shopping for a new honda last year. local dealer wanted close to 8k OTD up front I got them down to 7.4k, in columbus they were 6.5k OTD up front got them to 5.8k and took the trip.

x5 on pelham powersports. thats one of the worst run establishments ive ever been to. Went in one day to get some antifreeze and it literally took me 25 minutes to get antifreeze and be checked out. i was the only customer in the store at the time. i bought my 4 wheeler from them when a friend worked there, but other than that i will not return

Call Hattiesburg Cycles in MS. They smoked everyone in Bama, last bike I bought. Like 10% less. Have heard the same from everyone that has priced with them.

I called them 2nd, and what i didn't like was havin to talk with different departments to get what i wanted, one guy priced the utv, then he said was going to have to transfer me to accessories department, then to someone else blahblahblah. I called Shannon and told him exactly what i wanted, what glass, roof, winch, etc and he had my price in under 2 minutes, and it was ready for me to pick up when i got there...And maybe Ol' Joe will chime in about his buds experience there.......

Don't go near Big #1 I tried to get my 4-wheeler worked on in there a couple months ago. First they acted annoyed I was at their counter in the "Service Department" and they didn't look busy. Fella told me $375 to clean the carb (base price) plus parts and additional labor... said and I quote "it might cost $700-800".

I looked at the guy like we was stupid and asked him if that came out to $100 an hour to work on an ATV? A replacement carb is less than $100 online...... and he replied..."look buddy, we are a full service dealer".

I said... Oh, Ok, Good luck with that. And....Walked out.

Never going back.

Did you ask him if that includes lubrication and a reach around?

The same crowd that shops at Mark's Outdoors must buy their 4-wheelers there. They got the camo seat and the undermount Clorox injection sprayer system with the Cald meter ready to mount up for another $3,000.

Once I made my mind up what machine I wanted, I called around to every store within a distance I was willing to drive. Told each one I was buying a machine that week to whoever had the best price. I got my Kawi mule FXT at Pinnacle in Birmingham.

Call Abernathy's in West TN too. No sales tax. Its a haul though.

Everyone's going to have a different story to tell, and a different experience...even from dealer to dealer.

I bought a Honda Pioneer a few months ago. Called/emailed dealers all over, including Southern Honda in Chattanooga and Laurel Honda in Laurel, MS. Laurel Honda had the best price on what I wanted. I then called Hall's Motorsports at Eastern Shore, and told them the deal I could get with Laurel Honda. They got within $125, and that's including the tax. Saving $125 ain't worth the time, mileage (150 miles one way of 2 laned backroads) and gas money to drive that far to pick up the same utv.

I'm sure Hall's isn't popular with some here, and that's fine, but I got an excellent deal with them. And, if I need service, the dealer I bought it from will be the servicing dealer.
