Choot him, then age him, then let us know who’s right and who’s wrong!! All else is an educated guess!!

Anyone who says 3.5 needs to recalibrate. I have been watching him for several years, and I passed him last year, hoping my wife would get a shot. I thought he was at least 4.5 last year.

Here's July last year, on the left -

And also last October -

I have 100+ pictures of this deer, and I know for sure that all pics here are the same buck. He has some really distinct antler characteristics that may not be visible in these pics, as I was simply trying to get aging estimates.

There should be no question based on these pics that he was more than 2.5 last year, which makes 3.5 this year impossible.

BhamFred -

Based on last year's pics in addition to this year's, do you still think 5, or could he be older?

I don't see older, but I'd say he was five last year based on the Oct pic. LOTS of brisket and legs look a lil shorter than a four year old should. Face doesn't show six to me

He'll eat fine, if I get a shot at him. Passed him twice last year hoping my wife could shoot him.

If he's too tough, I'll just grind him into burger/sausage.

I thought mature bucks didn't come to feeders in daylight?

That's only in Alabama, I guess. They show up just fine in Georgia, South Carolina, and Texas, based on what I saw last year.

Well hell...several means seven.... to be that many years he should be bigger than that in body size... fatter and sagging back, he looks skinny,,, I believe that buck has got some kind of health problem that ain't showed itself,,, that brisket looks weird on him.... I'd like to see whiter face hairs than he's sporting for a older deer.

Remember, this is North Georgia. Very little ag in my area, just a few small cattle operations. Mostly woods. My little 1 acre food plot looks like it was mowed all winter long.

This is the 3rd year I have had pics, and I think he was at least 3 when I first saw him.
