Honestly. Budget and bourbon are two words that ought never be used in one sentence. If you have to buy budget bourbon you should just drink cough syrup.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

I bought a bottle of the Jim Beam Rye when it first came out. I think I took about 3 sips before I poured it out. It was like a poor excuse for turpentine. Quite possibly the worst whiskey I have ever drank.

Four Roses is about the best I've found, in its price range. $20ish for a 750ml

But why a 750ML? In volume comes price, 1.75L is the way to go. I understand that exotic high dollar special run stuff can only be had in 750ML but that's a different game.

This. Some have missed the ‘budget’. A 1.75L of 86 proof Evan black can be had for $28. A good budget bourbon that tastes up there with most of the higher ends I’ve tried.
