We were working on one of those rigs when a guy pulled up in what looked to be a bathtub with a trolling motor. His rods where longer than his so called boat. That was the day of the billfish tournament and when all those big ass boats came by the platform ol dude lit a cigarette and basically said goodbye. We went down there to rescue him if he sank or went over but he made it through all the waves. Crazy what people will do to catch a fish. I’ve seen bass boats 30 miles out in three to five ft seas and 16-18 ft single motor boats 60-80 miles offshore

Ive had a couple boats tha wer 2 man mandatory....you took turns fishin...cause one had to bail water with a bucket..i got laughed at an funny looks from people in their $70k bass boats...but i come home with a stranger fulluh fish bout 75% of the time...i lived on the lake but i can assure you if i lived on the ohchun ida made due...i dont see an issue here other than i mighta had me a sail...with a 6x6 pirate flag "I dont quit.. And ill fight alone if i have to"
