Whats your favorite way to catch 'em?

I caught a few this week swiming a jig, to me that's the best bite in bass fishing. Flipping with 10-15' of line out is my 2nd favorite.

Any way they'll bite!

If I had to pick I guess I'd say Texas rigged soft baits, around tree tops and stumps.......

Or buzzbait........

Heck I could go on all night

I love catching them in fast moving water below dams or on down from the dam on a jerk bait or shallow running crankbait. They just seem to absolutely hammer those baits when the water is moving fast.

My favorite, is finese fishing with spinning gear. 6-8lb test, weightless zoon trick worm or tiny brushhog with a shakey head.

Jig followed by topwater. Takes a lot for me to give up on a jig though.

Topwater without a doubt. But I'm not bassing, I'm after Stripahs.

I'd have to go with a subtle flounder bite on a 1/8oz jig, topwater is a close 2nd.

I forget about one, watching a kids bobber sink and yelling at them to set the hook and reel it in while they look at you with a look of panic, confusion, and excitement! A maze of slack line floating on the water grin

TOPWATER hands down. It also took me too many years to remember how exciting it was to see a cork go down and catching fish with a bream buster. Seeing my daughters face after hammering the bream and taking off her own fish brought me back to what was my some of my best childhood memories. Hoping I am passing it on correctly to the next generation. Remember to have FUN.

My new early spring favorite is a jerkbait, a Pointer 78 or 100. Later on a Sammy or a buzzbait with an Excaliber rattle bait mixed in between & I'm still trying to perfect CT's favorite method, a rat in the grass on the big G.

Cranking deep or shallow then top water throwing a spook last would be a shaky head
