Vyvanse is the only one that doesn't make me all edgy and irritable when it wears off in the afternoon. I tried Adderall and Focalin before my doctor got to Vyvanse. If I don't take it, I get halfway done with about 15 things every day. If I get a phone call or interrupted in the middle of a task, I'll go handle whatever interrupted me and forget to finish what I was working on before. I'll do stuff like take out the trash, but forget to take it to the street or something. I don't really notice it, but my family, coworkers, and friends can tell when I don't take it.
If you don't want to take the drugs, write everything down, and caffeine makes mine worse.

Long story short, I went to see the doc as one of my VA appointments for PTSD and after some testing they discovered that I have ADHD, I didn’t even realize that was possible for some one that’s 40. After he explained the symptoms and the results of my test I thought to myself that explains a lot. I’ve never been tested or treated for ADHD in my life and to the best of my knowledge none of my immediate family is either. Have any of you experienced this? If so do you take or not take the meds? Or what other ways can you sea with it? The question is , why do anything about it ( meds ) if you didn't even know you had it before you went ? Are there symptoms that led you to go ? Not being nosey but I think America is over medicated. I do believe that some of us need meds, it's just not the answer to every situation like most doctors would try to convince us of.

Those are same symptoms I had I just didn’t know it was ADHD I thought it was just me. This is day three being on Adderall and I have no complaints so far. I am able to notice when I catch myself going off track, I should probably cut back on the coffee in the morning. BPI, the meds seem to have helped so far. I am actually able to concentrate on a task and finish it before I move on to something else. NSDQ, they told me that too but I haven’t lost my appetite I’m still eating just the same.... to much lol

Just be careful I hear those meds are extremely hard to get off of.
There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

I think I was ADD before it was popular. Always had to study harder. Could never study in a group. Trouble keeping focused at times. I’ve managed to do well this far so I doubt I’ll take any meds. Have a son on it tho and it helps.

I'm with you BPI. The whole drugging kids was accepted because then parents and teachers didn't have to parent or discipline. Just drug the kid!
