Where are they at this time of year? Along the edges of creek channels in 20'+? Under docks? In the grass? I'm guessing nighttime under the bridges on the Big G may produce.

Am I on target on any of this?

I have only been one time in the last 4-5 weeks. I'd look deep, or under docks. If you can tolerate bridge fishing, that's probably a good place to go.

The last ones I caught came out of 20+ fow in stumps. Caught a few under a boat dock also. I fileted em and ate em and they already had that mushy texture that they get in warm water so I wont be keeping anymore until it cools back down. I'm planning on going tomorrow. Maybe I can report back with a more up to date report. This was 2 weeks ago.
