What do y'all like so far as mounts for your red dots and do you prefer cerakote or dipping your guns?

I got the Sumtoy mount for mine and like it and never had a cerakote but I’m sure it’ll hold up better than dipping

I shoot bead so cant help you on the mounts, but cerakote is the way to go vs dipping. I'll never have another dedicated Turkey gun that isn't cerakoted

Depends on the gun for the mount.

If you're shooting a pump or semi with a flat milled in the top, a LOT of folks like the Marlin 336 Burris base for the mini red dot sights.

The sumtoy base is contoured and will fit most any semi or pump gun no matter if its got a milled flat or not.

If you're shooting a single shot break action probably a piece of weaver rail bedded to the barrel that has been drilled and tapped for the same.

I'd go with cerakote too. But then again, some may say I'm biased grin

There are two types of gun enthusiasts ... Those who have been F#CKED by PTG and those who will be!

Sum toy on the mount for sure. I personally like to have stock and forearm dipped with the metal cerakoted.

I'd definitely go with the Marlin 336 base and the entire gun dipped in Mossy Oak New Bottomland. I would almost quit turkey hunting if I had to use anything from Sumtoy.
