Really jake? It snowed here this morning! loco The forecast is the 90's all week! Bring on some cold weather!

Thomas Jefferson. The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Life is too short to only hunt and fish on weekends!

If being a dumbass was fatal some of you would be on your death bed!

Yes it was. I stuck it out until 2pm, but the jet fleas and pleasure boaters finally ran me off the water. Got to meet two GW's. Nice guys. My first time to be checked since I moved here. The catfishing was slow (only caught dinks), but the big perch bite is still on. Drifting worms along the bottom was the secret this weekend. Nice to see the dam release was back to normal again.

TN, what you calling a perch?

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

Pulled out on Weiss for a little while. We are sitting in the boat slip under the big roof fishing right now. Probably won't catch much here but the fishing is much nicer here. Gentle breeze feels good.

Texas term that covers bluegill, shellcrackers, pumpkin seeds, etc. One term covers all my bases. Kinda like the name Coke can refer to any soft drink.

Bream refers to bluegills. Then there are shellcrackers, pumpkinseeds, stumpknockers, warmouths (goggleye), and some kind of ugly little thing we catch on Eufaula at night on crappie minnows. Don't know what the hell those things are.
