Have read other similar recommendations. Understanding that there is always a difference between recommended and real world results, thought I would see what has worked for other folks. Might shout you a PM to discuss your attack strategy. I want this stuff GONE.

Some guys I have talked to have had some luck mixing RU with Stim U Pro, a fertilizer. They told me the Stim U Pro kicks the Cogongrass into gear and causes it to take the RU in better and distribute it into the root system. Claimed they got a more complete kill with fewer follow up applications.

There used to be a surfactant type additive called Phase II from Riverside. IIRC it was ammonium sulfate, silica and crop oil. Added to Glyphosate it done a pretty good job on cogongrass, especially if about 1% Imazapyr was added to the mix. Their was also a similar product called something like CogonX but I have no idea how effective it was. Only thing I can find now is Class Act from the Co-op, it is similar to Phase II but lacks the silicate.

Maybe 257 can add some input on these or offer another suggestion.

Forester had his Cogongrass expert out this week. Recommendation was to hit everything in the area (60 x 60) with Gly and surfactant immediately. Top kill, slow expansion, and allow to regenerate. Come back in early Fall and hit with Gly/Arsenal mix. Phase two may be late winter burn of area and repeat.Gly/Arsenal application. Seems to make sense.
