Mirage Quattro. It's a full face mask but the bottom stops above your chin, not below.

They died early.

If left untreated, it will cause heart failure. No cure for that.

Friend of mine wife died recently. Suddenly. Complications from Sleep Apnea. Cardiac arrest. 50yo. Don't poopoo the issue. It's legit. People who don't think they have it don't get tested. Those that test have a pretty good idea already.

My wife snores like a freight train. I know she has it. I've tried to get her to go get tested but she won't. It's going to result in bad things if she doesn't get it fixed.....

Normal O2 Sat % should be 95% or higher. During my tests, I was dropping to 80%.

I'm not and that makes sense. All I know is that I had never heard of it 20 years ago and then all of a sudden it seems to me like an epidemic. I was honestly asking.

Snoring is an indicator but just because you snore doesn't mean you have Apnea. Listen to see if she stops breathing when sleeping for more than a second or two. If she does convince her somehow to go for a test. My wife snores and I've listened carefully but she doesn't have episodes of stopping breathing.

I knew it was time for me to talk to my doc about it when I woke up several times drenched in sweat and felt like I was drowning. I jumped up on the side of my bed and took a few seconds to start breathing. Horrible feeling. I've known people that have been tested and didn't have Apnea but it was worse. They were not getting Oxygen in their blood for whatever reason. Instead of a mask, they have to sleep with an Oxygen line at night.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I just brought home my CPAP this week. I'm still trying to make the adjustment to sleeping with it. I know it will be great when i do. During my sleep study with the machine I got the best night of sleep I've had in years. For aome reason now that I'm home with it in not making the adjustment too good right now.

When famous people like Reggie White started dying from it, awareness levels rose.

I have a friend who thought he had it and did the study, turns out he had a brain tumor causing his issues but it was caught early because of one test leading to another

You know....that's really strange.

I had a friend who passed away almost 3 years ago with a brain tumor. He had been tested previously for SA and was told he didn't have it. Makes one wonder if there's a connection in the symptoms.

I’ve had my cpap for almost two years now and I couldn’t imagine not using it. My blood pressure stays almost perfect since I’ve been using it.

The first few years that I had my machine I fought it every night.

Fast forward to today, I don't want to and will not sleep without it.

For those of you who have just gotten one and are struggling using it, don't give up on it.

Somewhere down the road you and the machine will "click" and it will be smooth sailing from then own. thumbup
