I have the no cam and it is nice. Started to trade it in,but the price was too low for me to justify it. I shot every different bow archery unlimited had and the Mathews are dead in the hand no bow came close ither than that 1500 dollar hoyt.

I shoot a Halon 6 and absolutely love it. It's a little on the heavier side but once I got used to it I learned that I prefer a heavier bow as I can hold it steadier.

I’ve got a couple of Triaxs, a NoCam HTX, a Z7 and my old Q2. I shoot them all very well, but the Triax is my favorite right now. It’s the smoothest, quietest and fastest of them. Go to your local shop and shoot the Triax and Vertix. If you prefer a longer axle to axle bow, try the Traverse.

I have the Triax. Sweet bow. Had the DXT for 10 years before I bought the Triax. Still love it as well.

same and same. I always hear people talking about how light their bow is. aside from the walk in, if all goes well, I hold my bow for about 15 seconds on a hunt.

Definitely buy a Mathews. I shoot a Helim and love it. Have owned PSE, Martin, and Diamond. No comparison. Smooth, quiet, and fast. Buy your Mathews and take it to Shaw for custom strings. thumbup

I'll definitely be hitting Shaw up for some custom strings! I'm leaning towards either the Triax or the Helim. Thanks for input guys.

I've never owned a Mathews bow but, have shot the switchback and the No-Cam. Of the 2, the switchback felt better to me.
You should shoot some bows and pick what feels best.

I started with an LX and upgraded to a Drenalin. I love them both but came across a deal on a Z7 extreme that I couldn’t pass up. I learned how to shoot on the LX and each bow I’ve moved to has been nicer than the last. All are 70/29 and I’ve killed quite a few deer with the first two. Have yet to hunt with the Z7X.

The dren is for sale if you want to get into one cheap. PM me for details.

I love the Triax. Hunted with it this past season and loved the short axle to axle for hunting in treestands and out of my hunting blind. Extremely quiet at the shot. The 9 point and 2 does I was able to harvest didn’t flinch at the shot at all. Zero noise, which in my opinion trumps everything else in a hunting bow!
