haleyville al,
Apparently we are going into the squash business. My dad has set out 36 plants and we already had 10 hills planted. 😂 so we have 46 plants if they all make it. This was the the end result of him arguing with his girlfriend that 10 was enough and she wanted more.😂 were going to need some recipes.

OH MY!!! We planted about 20 plants last year and when that stuff started producing it went out of control. Hope he has a tractor with a front end loader to carry all that squash out the garden.

Hollow out the seeds from the bottom stuff with hamburger meat and rice. Simmer in tomato sauce. Add some celery, bell pepper and onion. Its good warmed up too.

Pick em baby size slice extremely thin with cucumbers, tomatoes, herbs from the garden, and dressing . Nice summer salad. You can grill or roast baby size squash whole or split in half. Young and tender squash doesn't need much at all to make it taste good, lil butter and salt and pepper.
