If it’s a random draw I have a couple more birds I want to enter as well. I thought it was big bird since we submitted a scoresheet .

Go back and re-read......all entries would be entered into a random drawing as well. If I missed it, that's fine. It's no big deal....just figured I'd throw my hat in the ring for the random drawing even though I had no shot at the biggest bird prize.

I guess I'm in the same boat. I thought you just entered one bird. Well, maybe I'll win sumptin' anyway!! Heck, the way my seasons have gone the last few years, I'm just glad to be able to enter a bird!

Sorry for the confusion. Here is where I posted about the random drawing. What I didn't want was someone to come on and post a 95 class bird and then nobody enter anything else. So, yes the contest is for the big bird but every other bird that was entered will go into a separate drawing to win other prizes.

Thanks for putting this contest on . I have been extremly blessed this season to have some really good hunts and also to be on the best ALDEER turkey team ever assembled . (I knew that $20 I slipped Yekrut would pay off.) In all seriousness I had a blast this year and am still learning a lot from some sure nuff turkey killin machines that are on this forum .

Figured we needed some youth up in here!

Ok, Now here is the situation. This Big Bird portion of the contest was supposed to be over 4-30 and all entries by then. I allowed a few days extra to get them posted. With there being no youth entered I allocated some of those items to the random drawing package.

I am going to 100% allow you to enter your sons bird but I only feel the obligation to let others have the same opportunity. So I am going to extend FOR YOUTH ONLY the entries for Big Bird until Friday May 10 at 11:59 pm. Anything after that will not be allowed.

Whomever the youth winner is will have to bear with me for a little. As I will have to put the package back together and do some reordering of product. It's not an issue it will just take a few extra days.

Does that sound fair?

It’s ok - don’t worry about the youth category or biggest youth bird. Just wanted to get him into the random drawing. Just thought we needed some youth posts.

I, too - at first, didn’t understand and thought it was biggest bird. Didn’t enter any of mine cause higher scores were on the board. We will know for next year, though.
