Or Sauger I'm not sure which, but good eating.

Thomas Jefferson. The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Life is too short to only hunt and fish on weekends!

If being a dumbass was fatal some of you would be on your death bed!

If you are where I think you are, the state has been studying a population of walleye there for a number of years. I wish I could catch one.

First one I caught in my life. They are kind of rare there, as I understand.

They taste just like every other fish, bream, bass, crappie, walleye all taste the same if you fry them. Ice fishing for those little walleyes is a miserable experience.

I gotta disagree with you on that one Ben. I can't say for sure about Walleye, but Sauger definitely have a different taste than any other fish I've ever eaten. They're so closely related I don't know why 'eyes wouldn't be the same. Crappie have no taste to me. Sort of like a chicken breast. They just taste like whatver you season them with.
