I went with the banks over the bossbuck. I liked its single post design and it was cheaper. $240ish on sportsman guide on sale.

They’re good unless you have hogs which can pose a problem unless you raise the feeder a little. They can break the bottom off of it.

Not that one, they won't. I drive two T-posts at the corners and wire the feeder to the posts. It's all welded angle construction on the lower part.

I like em. Get the big 350 lb one. Coons can still get up there though.

I have 2 1200 lb and 2 600 lb feeders. The 1200 is better for protein and I switch to broadcaster in August and 600 only for broadcasting corn. I fill the 1200 in August and top off in late December. I fill the 600 in August and early November and early January. I have a problem with coons on the 1200 but have never seen one get on the 600. The 1200 is hard to fill because it is so tall.

All feeders are pretty much equal when it comes to pigs once food is knocked out of them on wet ground, a mess. Five or six 16' welded hog pannels and a bundle of t-post is the best option I know of if you can't get rid of them.

Has done good for me. We concreted the 4x4 in deep so not much give at all. Much better than the thin round tubing legs you get with most feeders. We had decided if the hog were a problem with the wood post that we would replace them with steel but after 2 years we havent had the need too.
