So you can get a conviction anywhere in Alabama without signage, posting or purple paint , why bother ?
Probably because it's easy to do and would make getting a conviction that much easier.

cold trail, ya ain't even close to an expert, you're a half ass expert......you know just enough to be dangerous to yourself and others All I know is a speeding ticket isn't an arrest and tresspassing will not stick unless you knew you were doing it. The burden of proof falls on the state. I also know law enforcement can write tickets and not understand the law. In that case it cost the citizen money. I've been on the receiving end of this before I fully expect for you to threaten to whoop my arse shortly, but I'm a lover not a fighter. 😄 call me for a later appointment, my back hurts too much right now.  a speeding ticket is an arrest, you sign to agree to appear in court. Tell em you ain't signing and see if it looks more like an arrest....
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

I'm pretty sure that most traffic violation tickets are just printed off now and you don't have to sign it....at least the last two speeding tickets i received didn't have to be.
I had much rather be tried by twelve than carried to my grave by six!!!!

That is the newer E-Cite system the State and some agencies are going to. It was just starting to be used when I retired so I don't know how they deal with not having a signature as an assurance to appear in court. I am curious about that though so I will ask when I see someone using it.

So yall are saying a speeding ticket is a misdemeanor? It is classified as a violation and has the legal requirements as a misdemeanor for an action by LE. It is considered an arrest since it involves a detention and then an own recognizance release.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Oh I learned plenty, A speeding ticket is a misdemeanor( even thought the state says it's an infraction ) knowingly doesn't mean actually knowing, and Fred has an arse whooping list. And I think I've been penciled in on said list
