Looking for an foot drive trolling motor. I want one that doesnt work. Just needing it for parts. All I want is the shaft, foot pedal and cable steering parts. Any one around pisgah have an old one?

Yes. Im trying to come up with a remote control steer for mine. I dont really want another whole trolling motor on the bow.

Gundoc, I made one using the shaft, foot control and one piece of the bracket from an old foot control trolling motor. It stows and swivels out of the way easily but the foot control is not very precise because their is no resistance when turning it like their is with running motor head on it.

If Brent can pull off what he's trying it will be an improvement over what I did. I have checked in to hooking a servo to the top of the shaft on mine where I could use remote steering, I just haven't pursued it yet.
