think I've seen several people discussing GOT on here before. S8 premiered last night...thought it was a good one. Can't wait for e3 though - it's supposedly going to be an 82 minute episode that is just all 1 battle. And according to one of the actors, "it will make "Battle of the Bastards" look like an amusement park ride".

May be the "uncool" thing to say, but I have never seen an episode of GoT.

Yeah, well, I always heard there were three kinds of suns in Kansas: sunshine, sunflowers, and sons-of-bitches.

I think a lot of people don't watch it because "I'm not into dragons and magic and stuff", and they think that's all it is. And yes, there is some of that in there, but there's a lot more to it.

I too, spoke to 3 people from different backgrounds over the weekend who mentioned this show. I had no clue what they where talking about.....I did look it up online, and will have to confess, it definitely didn't look like anything that would capture my attention whatsoever. However, after speaking with the many people who mentioned it, I just accepted the fact that I must have been the odd ball and was quite fine with my diagnosis. However, different strokes for different folks, and I do respect that.

I was watching. A lot of reunions last night. Arya and the Hound. Arya and Jon. Arya and Gendry. Tyrion and Sansa. Loved how the first person that Jamie saw when he got off his horse at Winterfell was Bran. Talk about a oh s#*t moment. Also instantly understood what Bran meant earlier in the show when he told Sam he was waiting on an old friend.

The best index to a person’s character is (a) how he treats people who can’t do him any good, and (b) how he treats people who can’t fight back.

Yeah- the Bran comment about an “old friend” was pretty cool when Jamie rode into town.

The Jamie/Bran scene was perfect. I also like how the last time Jon and Ned saw one another, Ned said "the next time I see you, we'll talk about your mother." And when Sam told Jon who is mother was, it was in front of Ned's statue in the crypt.

It is arguebly the best most dramatic fine movie / series in the history of motion pictures / movies. Maybe The Ten Commandments or Ben Hur could compare but the series is hours and hours with all of it done to the highest standards.

All of you that haven’t seen it are missing out. It’s the best series that’s ever been on TV.

I watched a couple episodes when it came out and decided it that it probably wasn’t for me after the brother and sister were having full blown sex in the castle tower.

Oh crap, I missed that one!
Maybe it's worth watching after all!

Always wished I had a sister, instead of a younger brother.

the battle of bastards was epic, looking forward to episode 3 since you mentioned it.

Did not see Queen bitch putting a hit out on Jamie. Wasn't at all surprised by her wanting to kill Tyrian, but not Jamie. I think Bronn will tell Jamie.

If you can get through the first season you will be hooked. It took me a while, but man is it good.
