Saw the posted video a month or so ago. Had no idea Fran was such junk. That's all I've used in my Tacoma. I want to believe their ultra synthetic filters are much better quality as that's all I've used in the Avalon I have always used Toyota filters on all my Toyota trucks. They're made by Denso in Thailand as far as I know. In a bind with oil and no new Toyota filter I just change the oil and leave the filter until next time and buy them 2 at a time.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

The fram filter that almost cost me my motor had a thread problem. The threads bottomed out juuuust before the o ring completely sealed. Blew 5 quarts of oil out in about 3 seconds. I knew when I tightened it up it didn't feel right. Live and learn

Wix or baldwin are all that I use. In everything from trucks to tractors to dumptrucks to backhoes.
