We were in the storm shelter at 1:30 a.m. here. Stayed there for an hour. Wind got pretty rough.

Last I heard there were around 5 deaths near Aberdeen, MS and some were missing.

Prayers for those families today.

All good at my house, but it sounds like there is some tornado damage in Troy, but I’m not sure how bad.

The good news is that the system is almost out of Alabama. Georgia will be under the gun all day probably.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

My daughter is safe at a dorm in Troy. Can’t speak for other surrounding areas, but I reckon the campus dodged the tornado.

All clear in SE Huntsville too.

damage reports look bad out of Troy, but no reports of fatalities. wsfa and waka have some pictures posted. email notice from the University says to stay clear of Hunters Mountain Trailer Park, due to debris in the highway.

3.90 inches from this system, most of it fell within 30-40 minutes.

We probably had 3 inches this morning. Our neighborhood lakes flooded almost immediately and I'm sure the Flint River will be out of its banks again by this afternoon.
