anybody have any experience with these mowers? i have done research on them an i have found zero negative reviews. These mowers are nice...not what yall may be thinkin..these are heavy built and have quality parts and engines. i found a good deal and am in need of a man sized mower and i cant find many reviews but i know they seem to be built like tanks and powered by kohler. ive compared them to exmark, scag, toro, hustler, kubota, spartan, and john deere. they have an excellent warranty as well. any info is appreciated.

I don't have any experience with those mowers in particular but I am going to tell you about some factual Cub Cadet experiences. Got a co-worker who has a lawn care business on the side. He bought a brand new Cub Cadet zero turn mower. If I'm not mistaken it was a commercial type mower. He almost lost his lawn care business because of that piece of junk. It stayed in the shop broken down more than he had it on the job working. I think within 6 months of buying it new he went round and round with the dealer and they finally put a new engine on it. It still gave him lots of trouble. He finally got rid of the heap. My Dad bought a Cub Cadet zero turn mower a few years back, in spite of my protests and warnings to him. His Cub Cadet piece of junk almost broke him financially before he finally got rid of it and bought himself a Kubota. I know several other folks have had had horrible success with Cub Cadet brand mowers so I could go on and on with the stories. Personally, I wouldn't ever spend a dime of my money on anything that was yellow and had "Cub Cadet" on it. There are too many other good mowers out there that you can spend your hard earned money on.

I cannot speak to that mower. I looked it up online. As a commercial lawn service operator I can tell you I’d rather have a 7ga deck over that 10ga deck. You also couldn’t sell me a Kohler engine, for what was listed online, if I can have a Kawasaki. If this is the model with a steering wheel, no thank you. Too much work. Give me independent drives and stick steering. Years ago I ran Lesco branded mowers. They were essentially Cub Cadet M60 tanks, painted green with Kawasaki motors. They worked well, were economical and mostly trouble free. I run them all day, almost every day. My primary is a Hustler now. 60” Super Z. There are Cubs I would consider but what you are asking about is not one of them.

i know yall have had bad luck withem, i have too..an i wouldnt consider them without careful research as stated above..i made a thourough comparison of mower brands...kubota and bad boy both have the exact same running gear and motors as the “cub cadet” im lookin at...also the pro z series is a redesign to break away from their un reliable past...thats what i read anyway...these owers have been available since latter 2016

I found out quick that the reason my cub cadet zero turn was yellow was because it was a lemon. I have a Bad boy mower now and it's a freaking tank. I guess sometimes it’s just the luck of the draw. My Bad boy ZT has been nothing but PROBLEMS.

According to Consumer Reports, they are rich in features, as a brand, but are more repair-prone than others.

Make sure you get a Kawasaki engine whatever brand you go with. My Kawasaki 25 hp imploded with 260 hours on it. And it was serviced more than regular by the dealer

I've been researching ZT's for a while now to replace my borrowed 50" Dixie Chopper. I finally settled today on a Scag Patriot 61" with the Kawasaki FX motor and 3400 drives. Scag is doing a 15% military and first responder discount right now. It's on order and will be here in a few days.
I looked hard at these before settling on the Scag. Kubota Z421 60" Ferris IS700Z 61"
I tossed Ferris as they are an hour drive away, so any problems with the unit will require road trips. Kubota and Scag are both about 15 minutes away. I tossed Kubota because they stopped communicating with me. Oh well, their loss. I was actually about to buy it too. LOL
