The students saw the missed 3 pointer and started celebrating. They actually rolled the trees before realizing a foul was called. Love it!!

That’s one of the biggest reasons I don’t like basketball. The outcome of most games are determined by the referees not the players. I noticed it when my boys played in high school. Sometimes in our favor sometimes not. Not always on purpose but sometimes it undeniably was. I agree. The nature of the sport is that the refs determine the outcome most of the time. It’s frustrating to watch basketball. I don’t think there’s a huge conspiracy, it’s just a weird sport.

Hey aub's, are ya'll still rolling toomers corners? It was a foul, so it should have been called. Be mad at your team for not closing out the game. Be mad that your guy didn't make all his free throws and the VA guy did. I'm sure Pearl told all the players not to foul and the dumbass fouled anyway, that's not the officials fault. If it's a foul with 5 minutes to go, it's a foul at the end. Anytime you leave it close enough for one call to effect the game, well it usually does. Shoulda played better and not left it in the officials hands.

It’s not the foul dumbass. It’s the double dribble thatvwas no called. That’s where it happened. No one disputes the foul

You should probably discuss that with the two dipschitts that do the Auburn radio broadcast, who were abhorred that the refs would call "that" (a clear foul) at that point in the game.

(which I agree was a horrible missed call. I can only imagine they were anticipating auburn fouling him, and when they didn't, it caught them off guard) they did however think that the foul was the worst in the history of basketball, and repeatedly said that the guy stuck his leg out to initiate contact, and that auburn didn't even touch him below is the audio of Rod and Sonny if anyone cares to listen. My only wish is that they would let Stan do bball, he would have been great in that situation https://ftw.usatoday.com/2019/04/au...ction-toomers-corner-foul-virginia-video

Then Rod chimes in and says, " yes, they have to go right through this Auburn crowd." Were they promoting violence on the refs or hoping for it? Damn. Just damn. Like Bruce Pearl said, " get over it!"

Nobody complained about the double dribble during the game. Everybody missed it in real time. Crying Stan didn't bring it up until after the game was over. Crybaby...

I don't see how folks could deny this. It was a missed call, but no one saw it. How could refs be expected to? For the record, I wasn't even pulling against Auburn, I thought it was a good game to watch.

For the record, I wasn't even pulling against Auburn, I thought it was a good game to watch. Well, and if you really want to get pissy about it, Bryce Brown momentarily grabbed Jerome's jersey before he regained possession of the ball, which technically is a foul. Sure, it would have been very ticky-tack, but it was a foul...and would have rendered the double dribble irrelevant.
