I actually hope Aubarn wins. Maybe then they'll open up the checkbook in T-town and upgrade the facilities.

I'm pulling for Auburn but give the edge to Va. Similar stadium to the Carrier dome, Au missing a player and Va. has been here before and have a deep bench. Those white boys for Va. aren't afraid to take a shot either.

Auburn may set a record for most 3 point attempts in a half. If only they could make one.

Cavs D is tough. They always get back in time and are keeping the pace to Virginia's liking. If Auburn can score 65 or more they should win.

Not playing good but got the lead. Hit some three's in the second half and they gotta chance.

Feeling good to actually have a halftime lead with all the missed 3's. This team has tended to be a 2nd half team anyways.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Too much one on one by Auburn. Need to pass the damn ball and make the defense move instead of all the damn dribbling

That’s a bull shucks call. I’m not even an auburn fan but that’s horse shucks you can’t call that on the last play Was most definitely a foul. If it’s a foul on the first play of the game, it’s a foul on the last play.

At least the NIT was good to Bama. Oh wait. The #1 NIT seed got beat in the first round. Strong program there.

That was the correct call. It sucks to lose that way but Auburn did the only thing they absolutely couldn't do in that situation. Just a bad decision on the players part.

Congrats UVA. But what would have happened if they would have called the double dribble or whatever before that? When the kid dribbled off his foot

The refs miss the travel and then call a picky foul at the end after they let them hack each other all game. Auburn got screwed. Auburn screwed themselves by committing a foul, but if he did not foul the ball was going in anyway. VA won fair and square no one hates Auburn no matter what the radio network says

Bill, what about the ball hitting the guy's foot. You watch the game? That was definitely a double dribble. Should have never gotten to the free throws.

Bill, what about the ball hitting the guy's foot. You watch the game? Yeah , I watched it. It was a double dribble but they missed that one. Still a bad decision by Doughtry that could have been avoided. I thought the game was called fairly outside of the double dribble. I was hyped for the game and wish Auburn had won but I'm not gonna cry like a homer and start yelling about some imaginary conspiracy. Auburn basketball is going to be fun to watch as long as Pearl is there.

It was definitely a double dribble. But the call wasn’t made. It is what it is. If Harper would have made that second free throw, it wouldn’t have mattered anyway. Great season and I enjoyed every minute of it. War Eagle bitches.

Not too much about the foul call at the end, even though that doesn't get called often. The refs gave ANOTHER game to UVA (Purdue lost it on BS), because they somehow forgot the first rule you learn in basketball and that is the double dribble. Ned in the first grade could've made that call.

The one thing that AU couldn't afford to do was foul in that situation. I hate it for Auburn. I thought they had it in the bag. Tough loss but an amazing run. They beat some quality programs to get this far and were 1.5 seconds from doing it again.

War Eagle! If we hit some key shots we wouldn’t have to depend on the refs to call it right. Maybe softball can make a run this year.

Damn. Bunch of sandy vaginas up in here. I'm glad Auburn made it as far as they did and would have been being them if they advanced. What I see going on in here now is EXACTLY what I see during football season when the Barners legitimately lose an SEC football game and how they hate on Bama from the first scrimmage of the first game. Somehow, though, y'all expect us Bammers to see all this differently.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Half the bammers talking shucks now are the same ones bitching and moaning when barners do it during the Crimson elephants games. It’s expected. I don’t have a problem with it cause I do the same thing when given the chance.

I'm pissed that NCAA refs don't know a Double Dribble with two of them looking at it, but then I think about where this team was a few years ago with Tony Barbee and where they were today and I feel better. Pearl makes it exciting.

The students saw the missed 3 pointer and started celebrating. They actually rolled the trees before realizing a foul was called. Love it!!

That’s one of the biggest reasons I don’t like basketball. The outcome of most games are determined by the referees not the players. I noticed it when my boys played in high school. Sometimes in our favor sometimes not. Not always on purpose but sometimes it undeniably was. I agree. The nature of the sport is that the refs determine the outcome most of the time. It’s frustrating to watch basketball. I don’t think there’s a huge conspiracy, it’s just a weird sport.

Hey aub's, are ya'll still rolling toomers corners? It was a foul, so it should have been called. Be mad at your team for not closing out the game. Be mad that your guy didn't make all his free throws and the VA guy did. I'm sure Pearl told all the players not to foul and the dumbass fouled anyway, that's not the officials fault. If it's a foul with 5 minutes to go, it's a foul at the end. Anytime you leave it close enough for one call to effect the game, well it usually does. Shoulda played better and not left it in the officials hands.

It’s not the foul dumbass. It’s the double dribble thatvwas no called. That’s where it happened. No one disputes the foul

You should probably discuss that with the two dipschitts that do the Auburn radio broadcast, who were abhorred that the refs would call "that" (a clear foul) at that point in the game.

(which I agree was a horrible missed call. I can only imagine they were anticipating auburn fouling him, and when they didn't, it caught them off guard) they did however think that the foul was the worst in the history of basketball, and repeatedly said that the guy stuck his leg out to initiate contact, and that auburn didn't even touch him below is the audio of Rod and Sonny if anyone cares to listen. My only wish is that they would let Stan do bball, he would have been great in that situation https://ftw.usatoday.com/2019/04/au...ction-toomers-corner-foul-virginia-video

Then Rod chimes in and says, " yes, they have to go right through this Auburn crowd." Were they promoting violence on the refs or hoping for it? Damn. Just damn. Like Bruce Pearl said, " get over it!"

Nobody complained about the double dribble during the game. Everybody missed it in real time. Crying Stan didn't bring it up until after the game was over. Crybaby...

I don't see how folks could deny this. It was a missed call, but no one saw it. How could refs be expected to? For the record, I wasn't even pulling against Auburn, I thought it was a good game to watch.

For the record, I wasn't even pulling against Auburn, I thought it was a good game to watch. Well, and if you really want to get pissy about it, Bryce Brown momentarily grabbed Jerome's jersey before he regained possession of the ball, which technically is a foul. Sure, it would have been very ticky-tack, but it was a foul...and would have rendered the double dribble irrelevant.
